What a great event last night! Woo hoo! Repost from @prism_tcp whom deserve much gratitude (with @thecenterproject) in organizing/facilitating/reading, along with guest reader Blanca from @centrolatinodesalud , phenomenal host @skylarkbookshop, and organizer @kat.sasser ! “Jazz with Friends” community reading event was a success! Please check out “I am Jazz”, “Julián is a Mermaid”, and “They She He Easy as ABC” books for the elementary kiddo in your life (available at @skylarkbookshop !). Literature affirming the spectrum of gender identities for the win!ACLU’s Trans Leadership Table, Statewide Organizer Jay-Marie Hill, and even some YAAL Rockers ate speaking and playing music at Fretboard until 7p. Let’s learn about how to stop the anti-LGBTQ MO legislature proposals!Sunday was AMAZING! The CAMPERS were so freakin rad and sounded fabulous... Especially with Byron Amps and Centro Cellar gear... So many folks came out to support... Our raffle sponsors were generous... Rose Music Hall were lovely hosts... Pizza Tree pizza party was perfect... India House & Cafe Berlin & Fretboard graciously fed our volunteers over the weekend... and OUR VOLUNTEERS AND ORGANIZERS ARE THE BOMB!
